Check stevewetherill.com for more!

I started out as a game programmer on 8-bit systems like the Sinclair Spectrum in the early 80’s. Since then I’ve worked on a wide range of systems in technical and creative roles. Throughout my career, I have always done programming work, most recently in Go, PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript, C/C++, C#, Java, and Objective C, with bits of Python thrown in for good measure. Thanks for commenting. Unfortunately, I do not possess any documentation or other information regarding the RA2 .ini files beyond what is already available on the internet.

Hi Steve,I read that you participated in the development of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 in EA Westwood Studios some years ago.I am a fan and player of Red Alert 2, and it is interesting for me to create an editor of the rule files (rules.ini/rulesmd.ini) of this old but great game.It will be great if I could reach to you for asking some technical details about parsing the rule file. I have done some preliminary work and publish on GitHub: https://github.com/coltlv1994/RulesChangedLooking forward to your reply.Best regards.
